Partner
Universitas Brawijaya (UB)
Status

Research arm
CIRESH
LCH is teaming up with Universitas Brawijaya (UB) to develop Cangar Resort & Technopark, transforming it into East Java's top regenerative tourism hub.
The development sits inside the university’s Agrotechnopark near the Cangar hot springs, planned as one destination rather than a hotel with attractions around it.
Guests stay and take part in the wellness and agri-tourism programme. Students and researchers train on site through CIRESH.
Rooms and wellness facilities built around the Cangar hot springs, operated to international hospitality standards.
Eco-friendly lodging and a working agricultural estate that guests can take part in rather than only look at.
A CIRESH base for research, staff training, and student programmes on the same site as the operating resort.
Three parties, three clearly separated roles on one site.
Land & research base
Owns the Agrotechnopark site and brings the agricultural and sustainability research already running on it.
Development & operation
Leads development, runs the resort and wellness operation, and takes the destination to international markets.
Research, education & outreach
Runs research, training, and certification programmes, and the community and workforce development work.

Universitas Brawijaya brings the land and the research base. LCH brings the operating model, the brand, and the international market.
LCH is opening the resort and wellness components to development capital, and the F&B, wellness, and agri-tourism programmes to operating partners.
