Born and raised in Indonesia, Dr. Satrio moved to the United States to pursue his dreams, earning undergraduate and graduate degrees in Chemical Engineering from Iowa State University. His early career was marked by international recognition in renewable energy research, particularly in bioenergy, and leadership roles at prominent research institutions. Later, as a professor at Villanova University, he combined academic excellence with real-world impact, leading service-learning programs that connected students to community development work in Indonesia.

Inspired by his cross-cultural experiences and a deep desire to create positive change, Dr. Satrio transitioned from academia to entrepreneurship. In 2023, he co-founded L'ILE CROIX in Colorado alongside Dr. Hasan Hambali, a leader in MICE hospitality from Indonesia. By 2024, Dr. Satrio reestablished the company in Pennsylvania as the sole owner, sharpening its focus on regenerative hospitality and sustainable development.

Through LCH-USA, CIRESH, and PT CRONS, Dr. Satrio now leads a movement to transform hospitality into a powerful force for empowerment, education, and sustainability. His work honors local cultures, uplifts communities, and bridges the world through meaningful connections.

PT Croix Nuansa Sejahtera (PT CRONS) is the Indonesian arm of L'ILE CROIX INTERNATIONAL HOSPITALITY (LCH-USA), established to execute and expand LCH’s mission in Indonesia and Southeast Asia. Officially registered in Indonesia, PT CRONS serves as the local operational and business development hub, specializing in hospitality operations, management services, property development, and project execution.

PT CRONS combines global vision with deep local expertise, ensuring that projects are carried out with precision, cultural sensitivity, and a commitment to sustainability and regenerative hospitality practices.
